Prepare yourself of teh stuffs!

1. Why isn't my Blythe here yet??? She was 14 minutes away last night, so I assumed when I came home today there would at least be a sign on the door or in my mailbox that said they tried to deliver a package but no one was available to sign. But noooo, nothing but stupid junk mail. I'm going to be gone even later tomorrow night because I have to spend time at the tutor, so I probably won't get her tomorrow either....;_;

I WANT HER NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. The three greatest things/foods in the universe are pasta, cheese and ranch dressing. Luckily for me, Harper College is able to combine these magical elements into one elixir of yummy times. "Sonja", you may ask, "What about the vegetables? Where is the nutritional value in such a wondrous thing?" Worry not dear reader, for today in my salad I found a red bell pepper the size of my pinky nail, and my digestive tract is currently enjoying all .000034 percent of my daily needed fiber and Vitamin C.

Yeah, I should probably do something now. I'm gonna watch this!!!

Where is she!

My Blythe still isn’t here yet. I ordered it on the 25th of January and now it’s the 3rd of February. I know it is coming from China, but still….I need it now! To live! I even bought some Re-Ment dishes for her and those haven’t arrived either. So to hold my over until my stuff gets here, my husband and I went to Toys R Us and Target to find it some Barbie clothes. FAIL! There was barely any selection and it was all really skanky. Why do all Barbie clothes still look like they are from the 80’s??? Seriously, there was nothing for Barbies, Bratz either for that matter. What do little girls play with then? I guess when I was little I didn’t play with Barbies either, I played with Littlest Pet Shop toys. Those have made a big comeback but the selection is still pretty small compared to when I was a kid.
To make up for not getting anything last week, I tried to go to Mitsuwa today after class to buy some more Re-Ments. FAIL again. I realized that my front left tire was too low so I’m going to have to put that trip on hold until tomorrow. Now off to take a much needed shower!

I have 10 different kinds of cheese in my fridge.

Amish Colby-Jack
Colby
Pepper Jack
Cheddar
Chipotle Cheddar
Asiago
Fontina
Parmesan
Mozzarella
Feta

I also have two kinds of cream cheese, one tub of cottage cheese, and exactly one slice of Kraft processed cheese. This is all the Food Networks fault!

Why am I watching this????

I'm currently watching Desperate Housewives and doing homework. I have descended into hell. Obviously my own personal hell is occupied by Physics problems and Teri Hatcher.

Irk. I should go to the mall; I need to get some face cream now that the weather is all wintery. Every winter the skin on my face decides to peel off in big blotches. I use an Aveda Night Cream as in an overall face moisturizer to keep my face from looking all gross.

Ooooh, If I go to the Aveda Spa at Streets of Woodfield I can get some Starbucks.

I would rather just stay home. Maybe go to Barnes & Noble and get this book I've been wanting about famous cemeteries in the Chicago area. I think pictures of famous people’s graves would be kind of cool.

On Wednesday my husband and I went downtown to do some important stuff and on our way back home, we got totally lost and ended up in Indiana. We went through this area that was filled with factory buildings, cool machinery and industrial stuff. I took a lot of random pictures so eventually I'll post a few of the best ones.

Needs Sunlight

I don't know why I'm having such a hard time concentrating right now. I feel so lethargic and distracted. I'm usually a night person, but I think the lack of light in this apartment is really starting to get to me. We get about a few good hours of sunlight a day, and when it hits noon, the sunlight disapears over the top fo the apartment leaving the whole room a shady grey. Ideal for sleeping and watching TV, but wrecking havoc on productivity. It feels so absured to close the blinds and turn on aallll the lights on in the apartment so it doesn't feel like the day is completely over yet when it's only two in the afternoon.

I honestly don't know where I'm going with this post anymore, I think I'm just bored. Well, I'm off to get ready to go back to school!

I don't know what that's all about ^. I've got a massive headache. It can't be because I've only gotten 2 hours of sleep can it? I've spent my morning drudging through my Physics lab like a zombie and now zombie me is watching cooking shows...

Edit: 3:31 PM

Score! I've been cleaning out our cupboards and I just found Pixy Stixs.

My day so far
- woke up at 6:30 and managed to cough up some sickly substances and then remained in bed for another hour or so
- armed my self with a stack of 140+ index cards with Bio knowledge scrawled on them
- played Neopets for 30 mins (I was supposed to be studying)
- got a latte
- spilled some of said latte on my arm
- despite being actively up since 7:30 still managed to be 5 minutes late for physics
- took notes/drew pictures of fish and boats (S.S.Smiley FTW)
- contemplated the difference between polar and non-polar bonds
- worked on a “short story” to hand in for my Sci-Fi Journal
- went to Sci-Fi class, listened to students and teacher discuss a book I didn’t read
- went to get some lunch, they’re serving barely soup…what the hell is barely?
- got some french fries and a sammich (wanted pizza), could only eat the french fries and then felt sick(er)
- froze my butt off in the cafeteria
- studied 140+ index cards while rocking out to “Theme Of Laura”
- went to take first test of the semester…

Wow I’m BORING, have I always been so boring?
Panda Donnie Darko Like Character That Follows Me Around:…yes…yes you have.

ANYWAYS,

This fall I plan on sketching outdoor scenes and taking more pictures. And try to knit and do crafts from this Japanese book I bought at Mitsuwa. Hopefully some pictures of my first craft will come Monday. Hopefully.

Oh, I posted my journal entries from the last few Sci-Fi classes…3, 5 and 7 are MIA because I’m lazy and I lost them. 7 was the idea for a short story that I’m too much of a wuss to post until I actually write it.

Yesterday I saw a bird, and I knew what kind it was! I was like, "That's a European Starling!" and then I almost ran a red light.

This stupid online course is taking me forever! Grrr. I'm having a lot of difficulty concentrating on it.

New Journal

I need a new journal desperately, I wasn't comfortable with having my real name as my journal name. I still don't feel comfortable using my email address on here but I really don't want to change that until I find a decent name. I don't like the idea of using multiple email accounts I would perfer using only one, but I'm not sure what to do yet.

I finally put an ID up on my Deviant Art page for the world to see, or at least 1 person to see. I now have 8 page views, I'm so happy! Tee!

Bad news is that my boyfriend will not be able to go home or to Germany right now. I feel bad, but I'm happy that I won't have to worry about him being stuck over there not able to come back, because he is from a "special" country.

Good news, everyone is wearing sweatshirts right now. The evil heat has been banished from Palatine, and yes, the world itself. The polar icecaps are no longer melting, and the polar bears don't have to resort to cannibalism.

Best Simpsons quote ever, which I stole, and edited for my own HILARIOUS use.

As you can tell, I have no F'ing internet. I would type the swearword, but there are children present, somewhere, I mean there is a Claire's right across the street. Which I plan on visiting once I leave Caribou Coffee.

So last week I was home. Home! I missed them so much, and it's sad that I've only been away from home for about a month and a half, which has been the longest ever. I don't miss them as much as I used to though, I'm getting along fine. I just watch TV and wait for my boyfriend to get home. But if he goes to Germany for two weeks and I get all my school stuff done, I might go home again.

I'm a little buzzed, I had a free coupon for any drink, any size at Caribou Coffee, so I got the biggest one possible, and I've been drinking it for the last two hours.

We're on our way to Michigan, and I'm on the internet! In the car! Looking at NIN lyrics!(I think everything I write deserves and exclamation mark!) Wooh!

What sucks is that Q101 is starting to fade, and I doubt that Indiana has any good stations.
